SQ urges EGAT to speed up signing contract for excavation and transportation of Mae Moh coal mine within 7 days and take legal action against agencies/individuals that cause impact

Mr. Sasawat Sirisan, Chief Executive rcs data hong kong Officer of Sahakol Equipment Public Company Limited (SQ), sent a letter to Mr. Thepparat Theppitak, Governor of the Electricity Generating Authority of Thailand ( EGAT ), requesting to set a date for signing the contract with the winner, referring to the letter of the Electricity Generating Authority of Thailand (EGAT) dated November 28, 2024, according to Sahakol Equipment Public Company Limited's proposal for the contract for excavation and coal at Mae Moh Mine, Contract No. 8/1, 2 items, to the Electricity Generating Authority of Thailand (EGAT).
And on November 4, 2024, EGAT announced that the Company was the winner of the selection to be the contractor for the said contract because the Company was fully qualified according to all auction conditions and was the lowest bidder, as detailed above.
Later, the Company learned that Italian-Thai Development Public Company Limited appealed the results of the selection of the said contract to the Appeals Committee for the Procurement of Deputy Governor Fuel Line of EGAT, which the Appeals Committee considered and ruled to dismiss the appeal of Italian-Thai.
Therefore, the Company is the one who was selected this time legally and in accordance with the criteria for the selection of the scope of work (Terms of Reference: TOR) and all related laws, which is in accordance with EGAT's notification to the Company as the one who was selected for the procurement, details of which are in the letter referred to. Therefore, this procurement can proceed.
And EGAT must sign the employment contract with the Company immediately upon being notified of the decision of the Appeals Committee. The Ministry of Energy's order to appoint a fact-finding committee in the case of the contract for excavation and transportation of soil and coal at Mae Moh Mine should not be related to or affect in any way the signing of the said employment contract.
